drained from life - tw// self harm

struggling0_0struggling0_0 Posts: 206 Trailblazer
i’m on my way to college now - the last place i want to be today…

last night i had a upsetting conversation with my family, the outcome was of course reinforcing the fact i have ruined my mum, sister & grandas lives due to my struggles with my mental health. i hate myself so so much. everyone would be so much better of without me.

i spent my night crying, i didn’t really sleep at all. i now have such a bad headache and im on the verge of tears while sat in the car with my mum. i also ended up self harming too - im so pathetic.

*i am safe btw and do not need medical attention for self harm either, what i do is also pathetic too*

    Hi @struggling0_0

i can imagine you aren't exactly feeling too good after your conversation last night - so well done for going to college when you werent exactly in the mood for it. i just wanted to remind you that you ARE important and deserve to be loved and supported just like anyone else is. i'm sorry to hear that your family aren't the most supportive when it comes to your mental health - but what i can say is the world is a better place with you in it. mental health challenges and recovery is a journey with ups and downs, and that is okay. so i'm glad to heat you are safe right now even if last night was challenging.

we all love and support you here at the Mix - and you are a valued member of our community.

    sending hugs
    Sinead
