    i don’t mean to come across as rude or anything as you’re totally allowed to ask questions n that however your post is about something that can be super triggering for so many people so pls in future could you consider putting a trigger warning? it’s a simple thing that can make so much of a difference.

    also, there are many reasons why and no offence but it’s absolutely no one else’s business why someone does it.

    i really do apologise if this comes across badly as i do not mean for that so i am sorry if it does as it’s the last thing i mean to do.

    you can report this and ask for a tw to be added.

    Regarding your question, it is usually typical for individuals to result in this behaviour because of their struggles with their mental health, however it doesn't make them any less of a person. This topic is quite sensitive for most to discuss and understandably you may be curious, but please refrain from mentioning anything that goes against the guidelines in the future.
