Some of yous know that I have a massive fear of water due to what happened in my foster home when I was little so it makes showering very very hard but…

Today I managed to shower and wash my hair after 2 months of not being able to face doing it so kinda proud of myself. Also it helped because I’m on holiday and we have a lock on the bathroom door here so it made me feel safe :)
Sometimes when the people most like you don't love you, it is a hurt that can cause the greatest pain, and this pain can lead you to hate everything.

Eventhough you may feel like it may be silly to be nervous about water/showering, you did something brave actually, you overcame that fear/trigger and I know that its not easy doing that in itself. It shows your strength and bravery too as well. Im mega proud of you today for doing that <3. Though hopefullly like @sinead276 said over time it will become easier and less of a trigger in the near future. It also sounds good that you had lock on the bathroom so you could feel safer showering as well because you would want to feel safe. <3
