Rude restaurant experience

Went to get some food last night with some friends as I did something and they said come for a meal to sort things out. They booked a place called Karen's Diner, so he picked me up and we went asolutely disgusting behaviour from them staff in there. They were being very rude and even insulting me from the start, at first I was thinking nothing of it but they kept being rude, it was unbelievable behavior so I paid for what I had and left before things could have got heated.

    Karen’s Diner? 😂 I’m so sorry but I’ve seen this online and they’re rude on purpose I think lol. You know the stereotypical ‘Karen’ thing? It’s like that. Kind of weird that your friends didn’t tell you about that though

    I actually dont know why people would pay for rude service. I'd die if someone insulted me in front of my friends and family. It's really sad that your friends didn't tell you that its like a comical diner thing. Anyway, hope you're alright and I'm glad things didn't kick off

    ppl dont always need advice. sometimes all they rly need is a hand to hold. an ear to listen. and a heart to understand them. 🧸

    I googled it, I didn't know it was meant to be rude until a few minutes ago. @Slinky I still don't get it either, why would you want to go to a place and pay that's intentionally rude. I nearly got really angry but we just left and got mcdonalds instead.

    They did a pop up restaurant near me, they are meant to be rude. I don’t understand it either .. i wonder if is could be rude back to them or would they get offended :lol:

    probably for the comedy. and plus it gains traction on social media so its good for their marketing.
