How do i make friends?

Im a lonely weird neurodivergent teenager. In addition to that, due to rejection sensitive dysphoria, traumas connected to previous friends ghosting me and my small social battery, I’m scared to make connections with people. But I’m also very lonely! I feel like I’m missing out on social stuff. also apparently its good for my development.
So, how do i make friends? I tried a telegram bot for finding friends, but it’s really bad:( Do I just abandon the idea and live a lonely life?(because, in all honesty it’s not the best combination of qualities)

We are here for you so you will never be lonely
Thanks for opening up to us about these issues - I hope that you might be able to find both a sense of community and the advice you need here at the Mix, I know that many people here (me included!) struggle with the same things.
One thing that I think might be helpful would be to pick apart the problem and find some key areas to work on. This can also help choose specific achievable steps you might need to make to find friends and help with the feelings of loneliness.
This can mean trying to figure out what feelings and obstacles make socialising difficult for you and identify ways to get around them in a way that is comfortable to you at this time. You mentioned trauma and problems with rejection sensitive dysphoria - what kind of support do you think you might need at this point to deal with these issues? Do you have anything you might want to do to find friends that you're finding difficult to achieve?
I'm sorry that you feel like you're missing out on social events and I know the prospect of loneliness can feel very daunting, but I want you to remember that even though you might feel lonely you are never alone in your struggling
