Heey everyone,
As many of you will know, we worked in partnership with The Green House earlier this year to launch a new Support Circle on Thursday evenings, for young people who have experienced any kind of sexual violence.
Thank you to everyone who provided us with some feedback on how valuable it is having access to this space. Hearing how the groups have helped you to process things and feel less alone, really gave us all the feels 💛
We're really pleased to announce that we'll be re-launching these Thursday Support Circle sessions weekly from Thursday 16th November, 8-9.30pm! Come along to speak to a small group of young people with shared experiences and find support from a community that understands. 😊
[This will be in addition to our usual Support Circles taking place on Tuesdays.]
What can I talk about?
If you have (or think you might have) experienced sexual violence, come along for a safe space to chat. We want you to feel comfortable knowing though that it’s okay to talk about your experiences with sexual violence or not, there’s no pressure to delve into that in the session. The group will be there to support you with whatever you'd like to talk about.
If your case is under investigation currently by the police, we ask that you don’t share details of the incident that’s being investigated and in these circumstances anything that identifies you. Take a look at the Community Guidelines on Safety and Confidentiality which can help you to understand how to safely share your experiences in the group.
How do I sign up?
To sign up for a place for our next session on 16th November, complete our registration form which is open now! For those of you who have attended a Support Circle session on a Tuesday, this is a separate form just for the Thursday sessions. After you sign up, you'll be sent a confirmation email. Make sure you respond to that email to secure your place for the session. This is an automated process.
