Discussing Andrew Tate

Howdy Mixorians! A lil mod update to start your week. 🧙
The mod team has decided that discussion of Andrew Tate and his family is not a suitable for support groups. From now on, that discusison will only be allowed on the discussion boards.
This is because, on the discussion boards, it's much easier to avoid conversations you don't want to participate in, unlike support groups where everyone is in a single chat. That means the boards are a safer home for discussions that are contentious, emotionally charged, or potentially triggering.
Secondly, general chat is specifically meant to be light-hearted, fun, and easy-going. Even though discussion of Andrew Tate isn't always a bad thing, there's just too much political baggage and strong feelings around him for this to be a suitable topic for a relaxing space like general chat.
And lastly, our previous and more nuanced guidelines on Andrew Tate discussion were a bit too complicated. It was confusing for everyone (mods included!) so we decided on a simpler rule.
Any questions, feel free to comment below or drop a DM to @TheMix.
