Incident at work

If you do something at work that means you have to go to hospital and you agreed and ambulance took you so they saw it and saw was getting help then is it okay if they ring your next of kin when you already said no? I self harmed and had to get stitches

    Basically do work have the right to tell your next of kin about an incident at work if you’ve asked them not to
