I imagine it is both frustrating and upsetting to feel unsupported by your teachers. Their dismissal of your needs is really disappointing. I can understand why you may feel that they aren't approachable or welcoming when they ask 'why didn't you come to me sooner?'... it can be hard to access help and I am proud to see that you continue to do so. Is there a welfare team or counsellor in your school? This might be worth exploring if possible. In the meantime, please continue to reach out here when things get tough. The school years can be so filled with emotions and it is so draining to feel misunderstood. We are here for you.
Take care
I imagine it felt quite betraying to have your private thoughts conveyed to the teachers. You deserve to be supported through these difficult times. Are there any other forms of support which you think could help make this more manageable?
