Counselling service temporarily closed for new bookings

Hi everyone,

The Mix's counselling service has had to close all future bookings until further notice due to some technical difficulties. This will not affect any pre-existing bookings. If you already have a booking, this will still go ahead as scheduled, this will only prevent new bookings from being made.

If you have any questions, you can email the counselling team at counselling@themix.org.uk.

We should be able to get the booking service up and running as soon as possible. We're not sure on how long this may take but we will post an update as soon as we hear any news.

In the meantime, if you'd like some additional support, we've listed some places you can reach out to below:
Helpline - If you need help but don’t know where to turn, call us for FREE on 0808 808 4994. Our phones are open 7 days a week from 3pm to 12am. You can also webchat to us 7 days a week from 3pm to 12am.

Crisis messenger - If you feel like you can’t cope or are worried about how you are feeling, you can contact our crisis messenger 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by texting THEMIX to 85258.

Group chat - Share what's on your mind with a group in support chat or join a general chat to hang out and have fun. Group chats run from 8-9:30pm Monday - Sunday.

Support Circle - Additionally, there are Support Circles every Tuesday at 7.55pm. Each member of the group gets a specific amount of time to talk while everyone else listens and supports. These sessions usually have around five people. If you'd like to sign up, make sure to complete the form and a member of the team will be in touch to confirm your place.
