I'm in scotland and trying to plan for when I move out at 16.

When I move out I will be totally relient on benefits. I had a trust fund which I was meant to access at 18, but it was all spent to get me a dog 2 years ago. She is my best friend. I'd rather keep her so are there services who would help me pay for her or charities or even benefits, like any money I could get to keep her and pay for her food and possible vet bills she might need in future

    Hiya, is this helpful? https://www.vets-now.com/2018/02/help-with-vet-bills/

I have a dog too so understand why you would do everything you can to keep her with you, they truly are best friends 💜 May I ask what breed she is?
Treat yourself as you would treat a good friend

PDSA will actually pay vet bills for one pet in the family. I'm not sure if this is just Scotland but might help! Worth looking into
