I'm really confused?

Do you ever know something is illogical/unlikely but believe it anyways? Like I know its unlikely that something is watching me from the walls/this is all just a simulation someone is controlling, but I still kinda believe it.

    Hey it’s nice to meet you. I’ve been going through something a little similar lately and it’s something that’s really unnerved me. Talking to people about it has really helped me. Is there anyone you could maybe talk to about it? But no pressure and you should be really proud of yourself for opening up here we’re always happy to listen.

     It’s hard when you know something isn’t logically possible but you can’t stop thinking about it. I often write out the thoughts going through my head or I talk to someone then I find a distraction whether that be a film or taking the dog for a walk.
