    So setting boundaries can be about learning and knowing your own personal limits - what things send you over the edge etc. Think about these things and then boundaries are like lines that you don't cross to stop you getting hurt. 

    Sometimes it can be with a friend or family member that sometimes can be toxic for you. Set yourself a certain time that you'll reply or talk to them. 

    It can also be using social media or your phone. 

    Sometimes it's learning when to say no. If there's something you don't want to do but feel pressured into it can help to set yourself boundaries for example foster carers might set themselves a set number of children they can take in or avoid certain behavioural traits to avoid any issues in the future. It's all well saying you'll take a kid in because you feel sorry for them but if you can't provide the right care for them it'll often end up worse for everyone. 

    Just like you need to set boundaries to avoid situations becoming bad.
