so, as a general rule, my home life isn't great, and for ages, my main source of coping has been my music lessons. however, my mum just cancelled my lessons because i haven't been acting "grateful enough". i've been taking these lessons for years and music's very important to me. i'm feeling kind of low about it, and i already miss my teacher, and i miss having that opportunity. i'm not sure what to do.

Really sorry to hear this Kat,

does she have any intention of restarting them? is it more of a punishment from her end or is this full time?

I'm guessing you can't sign up for them yourself? do you earn any money? can you put some aside to start again? or maybe talk to her about it? x

Aw its great you enjoy music. That sounds like a nice hobby. Is a shame you cant go to them atm & understandable feel low about it, espically if home life isnt great :(. your going to uni and away from home are you looking forward to it?

would be really good if its option to start them again in autumn  and maybe you could explore that option more?

    all the best
