No support for mental health

Hello I am really struggling at the moment with no support for my mental health problems. It is so bad that there is not much mental health services out there in some parts of the UK like Birmingham for an example as there is a lot of people like me that are urgent and that really need the proper or right support for their mental health and other issues that they have. I really want to be able to tell an advocate about wanting my voice to be heard more by everyone and having the right to get support for my mental health for when I finally do get one after waiting nearly 5 months now for an advocate. Also I really hate it when not everyone seems to get the right support that they need and that is not fair at all as everyone has rights and everyone is entitled to get the right support that they need and that everyone deserves to be treated the same as everyone else and to be allowed to have freedom and to lives their own lives as much as they want. I really also hate it when no one understands me or others with mental health issues or disabilities or conditions at all and that is bad. I just don't know what to do anymore as no one is listening to what I am saying no matter what I say or do. I really hate some people out there that are still unpleasant and nasty and being so misunderstanding of others in what I am going through. Please I really want all of this negatives to end!!!!!!!! :'(

Yeh I really hear you on this one Sholay. Mental health provision in some parts of the country is absolutely shocking and it's very unfair that some people get such good care and others get absolutely nothing. Seems to just be a postcode lottery. It's not right, everybody should have access to the same support. So sorry you've experienced this and that you're struggling. Big hugs xx

Also I really hate it when parents or other family members or other people are really overprotective of young people and adults too when they are not children anymore and that everyone should be allowed to develop in the same way as their peers and as an individual. The reason why I am saying this because of my family including my grandmother and my mum were like that with me and I really hated it and I am still affected by it now. Also like you said Ariana that everyone should be treated equally and not differently or less favorably from everybody else.

The mental health system is shocking and very sad when I read about those who don’t get support. I just hope that something changes soon - it has to really. I’ve heard that they’re going to be more funding for mental health services so hopefully the case.
And I agree some judge people with mental illness - sometimes even the professionals and totally wrong.
Sad that not everyone gets given equal opportunities.

You may have already tried but thought I’d ask.Have you thought about trying any charities like Mind. You can ring on Mind Infoline on 0300 123 3393.
And have you tried https://beta.nhs.uk/find-a-psychological-therapies-service/ this. (Self referees and don’t need gp). So sorry if you’ve tried/ thought about those. . It is great you’re already finding an avodcate. I’m sorry you’re struggling. We will always be here though
