Coping with being fully deaf

I have just gone fully deaf as I was partly deaf before there is nothing the doctors can do I was wandering how do you cope with being deaf and communicating to people especially in shops when you have to ask for something.

I am sorry you have lost your hearing. I hope you’re getting support from others as am sure there is lots of support out there. You could maybe try writing things down on paper or on your phone things you want to ask them in the shop. Am sorry I am not much help. But I hope with time and support and other peoples help/advice you can adapt more and things get easier

Welcome to The Mix, it's great that you've found us.
I don't have any personal experience of deafness, however I am learning BSL. Whilst most people might not know it, places like museums and hospitals often have BSL interpreters. There are loads of videos on YouTube which could help
Are you getting any support from medical professionals with regards to communication?
