Hey everyone,

Whose face do you see when you view the above image? Now squint your eyes or take a few steps back from your screen. Whose face do you see now?

This week's challenge is the optical illusion challenge!

For this challenge we’re asking you to find an optical illusion that you think is really cool and share it with us here.

Don't forget to vote on next week's challenge ideas below and if you're interested in getting involved in some of the fun things we have going on at The Mix such as suggesting a weekly challenge idea, submitting something for the newsletter or hosting a general chat, let us know over on this form.

This one always used to be in my psychology textbooks! How many legs does the elephant have?

Answer - The reason you’re having trouble with this image is due to the fact that the artist responsible for this image was very clever. The only correct elephant leg in the drawing is the back left leg. That leg is completely intact, but the others aren’t. If you look very closely, you’ll see that the rest of the legs have the foot missing from them. Basically, the artist removed the feet off of the legs and put the images of the feet between the actual legs.

Maybe somethings don't get better, but we do. We get stronger. We learn to live with our situations as messy and ugly as they are. We fix what we can and we adapt to what we can't. Maybe some of us will never fully be okay, but at least we're here. We're still trying. We're doing the best we can. That's worth celebrating too ❤
