Want to ask some questions about sex, consent, or sex education in schools?
Who'll be running the session?
Our expert will be our very own Relationships Squad member, Glen. He works as a sex and relationships educator, and has many years of experience in delivering sex education workshops both to schools and other professionals.
Glen wrote:I have worked in sex education for 9 years, delivering workshops on body image, puberty, relationships, gender, sexuality, consent, slut shaming, contraception and STI's, sex and the law, sexting and porn. I am a core member of the sex education forum and a Brook Champion with a clinical focus. I love the topic and truly believe young people deserve the right to age appropriate relationships and sex education fit for the 21st century.
I have also set up and run sexual health services for young people in educational settings and in the community. Sex education does not stop in the classroom, it continues into sexual health services young people access and into the conversations they have with peers, friends and family members.
When is this happening?
The chat will run on Monday 12th of February from 6:30pm to 8pm. If you can, please try to come for the full session.
How will the chat work?
Like all expert chats, this will be open to everyone. The moderator will ask the room who has a question and then ask you to take it in turns to put them to our expert. You'll also be more than welcome to chip in by sharing experiences and ideas that might be helpful to others.
