How can you tell the difference between someone who's flirting with you because they fancy you - as opposed to someone who's flirting with you because they have an ulterior motive to do so?

    To trick you into thinking that they fancy you so that you do one or more of the following: a) take them out on dates; b) spend time with them; c) do favours for them; d) give them things; e) buy things from them; f) give them a job or promotion; g) give praise, compliments attention etc. to them.

    It's often said that fake flirting is more common than real flirting.
