Cyberbullying

Basically, I just want to know if what happened to me counts as cyberbullying, because it's driving me crazy that I'm starting to think I've made a fuss over nothing. Basically, a guy told me to kill myself. Once. And I don't speak to him at all, and I don't have to and I'm fine. But I want to know that I'm not making a fuss over nothing, so can someone please tell me what they think because those words haunt me every single day and my mum doesn't understand.

The Mix has an article on Cyberbullying which might be useful to have a read of. It might also be worth showing the article to your mum as well if you think this could help her to understand what cyber-bullying is. Sorry to hear that this happened to you, when did it happen, was it something you were able to report at all?
