What are the stages to be in a relationship?

To be in a relationship is more confusing now than ever before as there are so many stages before you are actually in a relationship. What are the stages of a relationship to everyone else?

    You hear so much about how people are seeing, talking, flirting, going out and just about everything else before they actually start to date. Why has this come about more and more regularly within younger generations.

    Hey NiamhEH,

    Thank you for your post.

    I agree with Steve, there are so many different ways.

    For me personally, it goes like this;

    1. Get to know each other
    2. Liking that person and being interested to know more about him/her.
    3. Building trust
    4. Being comfortable with each other
    5. Love

    Of course, these stages can change depending on the other person, and how you feel about them. Everyone's different!

    Steve,

    I didn't put those under a stage since for me they can be between stages and I am not so sure, it usually changes depending on the other person.
