It would of been my friends 19th birthday today, he took his own life when he was 17 and i am really struggling - i visited his grave but found that to make me feel worse, i cant relax - anyone got any suggestions?

Although they are no longer with you in person, I am sure they will want to be smiling about your memories together and for you to be happy.
When someone who we love passes away, it's always easier said than done to smile but I hope that you'll be okay. Big hugs. *hug*
