People seeing 18 as a big or full grown adult

Hi I'm Shola and I am 18 years of age and I hate it when people say or think that at 18 years of age you are a full grown adult when it is really not because it is still in the teenage years and most of them are not ready for the adult world and responsibilities like myself how can I stop worrying or having that thought?

    Hi Shola, thanks for posting this thread to look for some help and support for yourself. Sounds like its frustrating for you when as you were saying in your post say or think that at 18 you are a full grown adult when most are not ready for the adult world and responsibilities. Have you been able to speak to anyone about your worries about this at all? You were saying that you wanted to know how you can stop worrying and having these thoughts, whats causing you to feel worried about people seeing 18 as a full grown adult?
