6 months spotting with IUD

I got an IUD 6 months ago. I have been spotting ever since. No cramps, no bad bleeding, nothing at all, just non-stop spotting for 6 months. It is very annoying. I've read that long periods of spotting is normal, so I don't want to bother my gp with it, since I don't have any other negative symptoms.

Any advice?

    Sorry to hear you've been experiencing this.

    Nothing is ever too small and perhaps you should go and speak to your GP about it?

    As @HannahBannanna says, a trip to the GP is more than okay at this point so might be worth doing to put your mind at ease :)
