Is a provisional license a form of identification?

Hey guys,

Soooo I'm 18 in December, and I've just applied for my provisional license.

I was just wondering if it was a form of ID to buy alcohol? My dad seems to think no.. But I thought it was?

    It'll vary depending on where you try. Some places will say yes and others are much more strict.

    It's Valid, I use my provisional as my main form of ID

    It's a valid form of photo ID, but not everywhere will accept it. And it is up to a specific shop or bar what forms of ID they'll accept.

    Yeah, it is a form of Identifcation(ID)and MOST places will accept it as ID.xx
