Has anyone here used Samaritans, Saneline or any similar services? Which service did you use and did you find them helpful?

I've used Samaritans, they have been helpful when I wanted to talk. Recently I've been struggling to talk in detail and sometimes prefer more advice orientated helplines. I've also been using a helpline called breathing space, which is run by trained mental health workers and they can give advice. I can talk to them but not feel I have to tell my life story and get some advice etc.

Also used papyrus a few times when things get really bad, and used childline too in the past.

Overall, it depends on how I feel and what I need at that time....... sometimes different helplines are more helpful in different situations.
