Lymphocele

Is it safe to pop a lymphocele with a pin, or is it best to see a doctor about it.

For the last month or so I've noticed a hard lump just under the foreskin........today it has started to hurt because I wanted to try to pop it be squeezing it, but it didn't work and now it's hurting all the time.

    Update: Just has a bath and I accidentally popped it. At least I've got all the puss out. It doesn't hurt as much now which is a bonus :)

    You ought to see a GP about it. Popping a lymphocele with a pin isn't wise because of risk of infection, and I should imagine your doctor would be horrified.

    Yeah well I'm going walking mostly all day tomorrow and I didn't want to have it hurting all the time. So I thought why not have a bath and see if the pain subsides. I had a look at it, pressed it with my fingers and it popped.

    I'll see how it goes, I just have to keep it clean.
