in Work & Study
Hi. I work for the nhs. I started a new job in December and knew immediately I'd made a mistake. On 9th feb i resigned . I have to give a months notice but because I felt bad gave written two months. My contracted month is now up and I am desperate to leave . Do I have to work the second month or am I within my rights to leave .. Am I in breach of any kind of contract with me putting it in writing...lesson learned for the future !

Sorry that your job didn't work out. Do you have something else in mind?
For advice on contracts, I would contact Acas, who can give you advice on all the legal aspects of work. You can call their helpline on 08457 47 47 47 from 8am-8pm Monday-Friday and 9am-1pm on Saturdays.
I hope that helps
