Eeeevnin'

GC tonight is with me over in the usual place from 8:30 until 10:00. Be there or be square, yo :thumb:

Sidenote: I recently found out that the phrase 'be there or be square' is because you're 'not a-round'. Get it? ;)

I only worked out about a year ago that QWERTY keyboards were named that because of the layout of keys. Durrrrrr :banghead:

I was sat on the train and it was honestly like a eureka moment when I realised.

I can almost visualise that. I had a minor revelation on pancake day about the reason for their name - they're cakes that come from a pan!

    OH MY GOD, YES!

And I will be teaching the future generations...

I'd never thought of them as 'cakes' before. I was mind blown.

Well, at least you'll be armed with this crucial knowledge. ;)

It's like when you look on packets of nuts and it says "may contain traces of nuts" NO SHIT SHERLOCK.

Hahahahaha. The thing I love about that is the 'may'. Like there's a chance it won't and you'll just get a bag. Makes me wonder if that warning has ever saved someone's life.

Also, when you look on the back of most other things you get > Recipe: no nuts - Factory: made in a nut free area - Product: cannot guarantee nut free. :eek2:
