Anyone go yesterday?

I did! I thought it was brilliant, apart from the crap organisation and all the queues

I really enjoyed American Head Charge, SOAD, (even thought their set was cut short), Cradle Of Filth and Slayer

And having the pit at the front with the barriers was a stupid idea! And they didn't tell anyone about getting wristbands for it (they gave wristbands to the first 4000 people who got there). When I was watching Cradle, people behind me were trying to push the barrier over, resulting in me being very squashed!!

But it was all fun really

Yeah, but I can't decide whether ot was better than last years or not. The line up may have been slightly better this year, but the organisation was really crap, and the whole idea about having the prime area of the pit sectioned off for wristband only people was ridiculous.

Cradle were excellent, Dani looked and sounded absolutely amazing, as usual. I was very impressed with that stormcloud as well, it must have really cost a fortune. Slayer put on a good show, although I was very disappointed by Kittie's performance, also Ozzy didn't seem as good as last year, baring his arse was pssobily the highlight of the show, that and the fact that he didn't play "Dreamer" .
I was also very impressed by Hundred Reasons, they have improved considerably since I first saw them, they should be huge.

Man, I do write and say some shit sometimes.

Yeah, I went (few weeks ago now) I thought it was great even though the organisation was crap. I don't think I'd go again if it was held at Donnington because I think it's just unsuitable for the event. Anyway, ranting over, SOAD were very cool, so were cradle, slayer, hundred reasons and lostprohets. Came back with ringing ears and bruises. What more can you want?
