I reckon Roy Keane will become Manager of Ireland, and Manchester United by the year 2014. Ireland will win the European Championships but manage to get 3 red cards in the tournement. ManUtd will dominate the decade under Keano, and no press member will dare criticise anything he says or does. The players will be terrified of him so much that 3 develop an irational fear of grass and Irtishmen after they retire

What you guys think?

......MUFC 0-1 LFC Super danny murphy curls in a 20 yard freekick that hits the post and goes in.....LFC 2-0 SCUM stevie g bangs in a 30 yard screamer past a bold frog, fowler makes it 2 just before half time with a half volley, charity shield LFC 2-1 MUFC an early gary mac pen puts the reds one up before owen takes the piss out a gary neville and slides it in to the left corner and then ruud the diving-twat van nistelrooy scores a consilation.....LFC 3-1 SCUM a flick by Bruno (heskey) sends Owen through and the boy wonder curls the ball into the top corner from 20 yards.... and then ohhh dear...oh dear yes you have guess the BIG MAN himself, John Arne Riise lets fly with a 30 yard freekick from an angle that smashes in and hitting the underside of the bar....then beckham gets a lucky bounce of riise and scuffs a pea roller from 8 yards but 2 mins later big heskey out jumps barthez and then owen nods in the third and the game is over......MUFC 0-1 LFC united had won 8 in a row or something a ruud had scored in 9 consecutive games but in this game he didnt get a sniff when up against big sami....and liverpool had picked up something like 7 points from 8 games but we just soaked up abit of pressure without scum creating shit and then a few mins left stevie g float a majestic ball over the defence and who is on the end of it????? oh yeah SUPER, SUPER DAN, SUPER ,SUPER DAN SUPER SUPER DAN, SUPER DANNY MURPHY who expertly scoops the ball over the frog adn lfc take all 3 points and fergie whinges after the game and all the usually bollox but all that matters at the end of the day is the score board.....

I don't care though the World cup is all that matters, let us put these petty club rivalries behind us...... <IMG SRC="smile.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

    I wouldn't have put it like that either - I would have used punctuation for a start <IMG SRC="smile.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

and as a Red this really pains me to say, but last year Liverpool were the better team (even if we did go further in Europe), it's just the previous ten years that they were complete shite.

and Mancdude - you do United fans no service with the kind of moronic shit you started this thread with. We have enough bitching to deal with the 'glory hunter' crap without people like you showing how little football sense some of our fans have.

and how close is kent to manchester???

Im a real fan. I watched the likes of Becks, Scholes, Butt, the Neville's etc etc grow up. I was watching them in the youth teams before anyone outside manc knew who they were.

    FULL TIME SUPPORTER!!!!!!

But I do agree, Liverpool played better than us last season. Our defense was appauling but then when you've got Ronny Johnsen and Wes Brown out for so long it was gonna be hard, but then we didnt deserve to win the league. But it was a blip, scouse cant deny we are the better team in this generation. We will come good again next season. We need to invest in the defense. I personally would have kept Ronnie Wallwork and put him alongside O'shea, but it looks like Hofland, Thuram, Ayala or Nesta are coming in instead!

Oi, mancdipshit. I have been supporting United since before you were fucking <STRONG>born</STRONG>. That's right, more than 19 years.

Suggest you get your head out of your arse and smell what you are shovelling.

Your original post gave no indication that it was humourous (because it wasn't funny, for a start) and, judging by your other posts, it's the kind of moronic shite you post.

Here's another useful piece of information for you. Those of us who live in the 21st century know that travel is a lot easier now, therefore I have found it easy to visit Manchester on numerous occasions over the past few years. Thankfully these visits have shown that not all MUFC fans are as full of shit as you are.

In terms of football it would be the average length of a players career. Approx 16 years. I think that in that time no-one could disagree that United have been the most consistent team.

Just as Liverpool dominated in the late 70s/early 80s. Unfortunately for you Liverpool were a buying club back then and so didn't develop the youth players to bring success, and their purchases at the time didn't achieve much. You seem to have put both right now, and I welcome the challenge that you pose again now. There nothing more boring (for football, not MUFC) than one team strolling to the title.

Oh, and WTF have you scousers got to do with Mark & Spencer (St Michael?)... <IMG SRC="smile.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

I do not want or seek your "forgiveness", I don't care what your opinion of me as a fan is.

To be honest, if you knew your MUFC history, you would know that 20-odd years ago there was little "glory" in being a United fan.

But hey, you are a no-brainer, so what should I expect.

i thought a generation was the average life span myself but hey and dominating late 70s early 80s?? i take that as 77-83 well i will think you will find that 1972-73 1975-76 1976-77 1978-79 1979-80 1981-82 1982-83
    1983-84 1985-86 1987-88 1989-90 league champs
    1973-74 1985-86 1988-89 FA cup
    1974 1976 1977 1979 1980 1982 1986 1988 1989
    charity shield
    1976-77 1977-78 1980-81 1983-84 european cup
    1972-73 1975-76 uefa cup
    1980-81 1981-82 1982-83 1983-84 league cup
    1977 european super cup
1985-86 super cup is alot of trophies to win in 6 years my point is we dominated the whole of the 70s and all of the 80s got bored had a break and now were back and ready the layeth the smackethdown on anyone

Lived and breathed man utd? u must be a season ticket holder then right? you must go watch the youth teams and know who tomorrows superstars are gonna be. Of course you do, you live and breathe united. Id love to see your collection of autographs from the cliff! The collection of memento's from all accross the globe, such being your status. Of course, you'll know the best way to get out of ot after a match, all the routes, nearest hotels, pubs and chippy's without even thinking about it. Supporting united for so long must mean you know the streets like the palm of your hand. I bow down to your superior knowledge of all things Manchester United. Even though I see Old Trafford every day, go to reserve and senior matches, you're so obviously superior to me as a fan just because your d.o.b is different to mine. I'm so sorry, I will never question you again oh mancunian one.

You're so right about the history. I know nothing. I mean what would I know, Ive only studied the club back to the newton heath days. I bet you even know the club tour of by heart, unlike me who can only remember a mere mortal 70%
And of course, your Manchester United History website project is far superior to mine. Im really sorry, am I even worthy to lick your Billy Merdith replica boots?

    Please forgive my mancunian niavity....lol

No, a generation is roughly 10 years. think about it, if its a life span, we're from the same generation as the Queen. Things change fast. The 60s generation and the 70s generation are totally different. its not a certain definition though because some people say every year is a new generation
