Video Editing Software

Hi Guys,

I hope someone can help me out.

I have been learning the Ukulele and can play a tune.

I recorded myself playing it and singing.

I play because I love it.

I am not great, my voice is not good as well.

What I want to do, is add another audio layer to my little vid.

I want to sing over the top of it and add the audio layer to the vid on certain parts so my voice doesnt sound so bad.

I also want to add the tap of a tamberine to it at certain parts.

I have recorded the vid on a camera so planned to record the sound the same way.

I know that is probably not the best way but I am not teccy at all so if anyone has advise on basic programs or equipment for my hobby I will be really grateful to you.
