Hair Straighteners

My trusted straighteners of 5 years are about to break on me so I need to get a replacement pair before they do!! Any suggestions?? I'll be honest...I'm not a fan of GHDs - in fact the cheaper the better but ones that straighten thick hair otherwise my hair just goes curly and frizzy! My current ones are Babyliss and I love them but to buy the same ones now are around £80!
