Should I or shouldn't I need advice please...

Hiya, well after going to the docs today seeing Simon from lift psychology I don't feel in myself safe enough to have my driving license... I do feel like handing it in and start as a learner so I can't be tempted to drive when I like.. If u get what I mean... What should I do.... Don't say u onli know coz I know that but i need advice....

    When you hand your licence back to the DVLA on psychological grounds it can be very difficult to get it back.

    Why do you want to give it back? What are you scare you'll do?

    I'm scared that ill end up hurting someone coz when I get in that mood I don't concentrate or anything...

    Then either sell your car or send your licence off to the DVLA but be prepared to go through lots of hoops to get your licence back.

    There are pros and cons of giving it back. I had to give mine back in 2008, not applied for it back yet as still unwell. A big advantage here is automatic entitlement to a Freedom Pass (travel card), I'm not sure where you live but if you use buses and don't already have one this could be a great help.

    This. If you don't have a car then you can't drive. Sell the motor.
