What’s your best or worst part time summer job ever taken? Do u have any suggestion for others who are searching for a summer job in summer vacation?

    I worked for an agency doing factory work. I packed large tubs of raw eggs onto palettes, packed smaller tubs of pasta sauce into boxes then onto palettes, and counted screws and insulation parts for boilers. None of those were very much fun, but there was work when I wanted it.

    I worked in an ice cream one summer, that was more fun! Maybe look for places that get busier at the summer and so will need more staff - ice cream vans, theme parks, cafes etc.

    I've never had a summer job, can't get one :( there's hardly any about at the moment.

    Best - working as a festival steward (although I did get assaulted by Patrick wolf drunken PR once)

    Worst- canvassing for a local estate agents when I had a fear of dogs

    Best and worst was washer upper in a health foodish cafe in Eastbourne. Long, hot, monotonous shift but unlimited chocolate mousse, pizza and proper lemonade.

    Worked illegally in a Chinese takeaway for £4 an hour when I was 15 which was a nightmare.

    This summer and last summer I've been working as a festival steward which is pretty cool :)
