Don't know what to do with my self anymore

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
For about 1/2 months now I've been feeling really low. I haven't been able to concentrate at school. Last week I couldn't bring myself to eat anything, to the point I was really faint. I barley sleep, it takes me ages to fall asleep and then I always wake up at 3am and then manage to get one hours sleep before I have to get up for school.
I have no motivation to do anything, when I get home I just sit in my room with my headphones on until 10 o clock when I then get into bed and wait to fall asleep.
I just feel like I'm floating around, not really feeling any emotion.

    Hi lizzy2013

Sorry to hear you are feeling like this *hug*

Do you feel like this on weekdays when you have school or at weekends as well?
Has anything triggered this off like stress with schoolwork?

Well done for coming on here and seeking advice you are at the right place to be listened to :thumb:

How would you feel about seeing your doctor?

Keep us posted of how you are doing.

    Hello, thank you.
I feel like it all the time :(
I'm not sure to be honest, life isn't exactly the easiest but its never affected me like this.
I don't think I'd be confident enough to go see a doctor :/
    And thank you I will

Can I ask how old you are?

Is there someone you can speak to like a friend, relative or someone at school?

I'm 17, I've briefly spoken to one teacher about it

So you are studying A Levels? What did your teacher say?

I have put a link here from thesite around sleephttp://www.thesite.org/healthandwellbeing/wellbeing/sleeping/sleepingeasy

It gives advice about sleep and sleep deprivation. I hope this may give a little guidance to you.

Yes, I'm in my first year of a levels. I only really said about not eating much and not being able to concentrate. They said to keep pushing through it

Thank you, I will check that out
