When I saw hannah she did a write up about everything we'd spoken about and then passed that information onto my GP, who said I have PTSD because of my childhood, Now...this has really confused me because although the majority of the symptoms do fit and I have had a second opinion who's confirmed it the main thing is the symptoms show within 6 months...Now I don't know if mine did...as she's saying its because of my childhood..but that started when I was 4/5, which is almost 14 years ago...so surely that wouldn't of caused PTSD now...would it?

PTSD symptoms can be repressed for years. They can also come and go - I go for months without having flashbacks often and then I have months where I have 4 or more in a day. Getting the right support is the most important thing.
