Cleaning jewellery

I was wondering if Dettol or Tcp can be used to sterilise body piercing espically a tongue piercing? :chin:

I had to to remove them in hostipal so i want to make sure they are totally clear and free from infection before i try to insert them again.

    Yes, but it won't tatse nice :) Dilute it in boiled NOT BOILING water. Or use a teaspoon of salt dissolved in half a cup of boiled water. TCP/Dettol may (i dont know for sure) tarnish the jewellery.

    Or if it's metal, just boil it.
