Staying in for a delivery - what to do?!

Hello,

I've got to stay in potentially all day for a courier delivery of a yoga mat (I thought it was coming Royal Mail, I so wouldn't have ordered it if I knew it would be like this).

Any ideas of ways to entertain myself at home? To make matters worse my bf is out tonight so I'll be alone until late.

So far I've got:
- Do washing up
- Do an online shop at Sainsburys.com
- Knit
- Sleep

Anymore ideas?

    Treat yourself to having the volume up on the porn.

    -Watch a film your boyfriend wouldn't want to see with you
    -Take a bubble bath (just make sure there's a towel nearby for leaping and running to the door)
    - Do something to your home you've meant to do for ages but keep putting off (mend that shelf, sort out the junk drawer, properly scrub the bathroom)
    - Laundry
    - Get a friend over and make a nice lunch together

    OR

    Leave a note on your front door asking them to deliver it to your next door neighbour instead, and go out. :thumb:

    Write down a list of insults you can use against them when they decide to turn up at the latest possible time they can. :grump:

    House-bound things that I do on a typical unemployed day apart from jobhunting:

    - Make a bacon buttie
    - Brew up some insomniac coffee
    - Watch series 4 of Doctor Who
    - Play Atomic Tanks
    - Do some gardening
    - Housekeeping / cleaning
    - Draw something Disney-related
    - Surf the net
    - Ponder about life, the universe and everything
    - Drink beer in the evening :-)

    So far sleep has been winning and now I'm getting a headache, probably from too much sleep.

    I was hoping that it would come by three so I could get to the gym off-peak but that hasn't happened.

    It had better come today, I had to miss therapy this morning waiting in for it as they only delivery Monday to Friday, grr. And I couldn't pick it up from the depot as it's miles away, out of London. I eveb tried to pay my younger step-sister to come over to wait in for it so I could at least get to therapy with no luck.

    Thank you for all your suggestions. Will try some of them. :razz:

    Waiting for deliveries when you have something to do outside the house is annoying but usually when the object I was expecting arrives I forget all about it.

    Ok your probaberbly not waiting no more how long did it take? well next time you can
    1.watch your favourite movie
    2. eat chocolate ice cream and so on
    3. give your room a make over
    4.give your sself a manicute (read a magazine)
    5. get friends over only girls have a girly night in :D
