When I was about 8, my dad bought me a silk Shanghai tang jacket that looks like this, except in black, and with no pattern.
I refused to wear it as a child, but it still fits now. I feel guilty about never having worn an expensive jacket that my father bought, I'm guessing, in order to make me feel a little less unhappy about him living in China. I don't really get on with my father, and I think wearing the jacket, just once, would show him that I do try with him, and I do appreciate him, as I think that I upset him just as much as he upsets me.
Can anyone give me any ideas as to with what I could wear it? I was thinking I might wear it to my niece's graduation dinner.
