I heard that people with oily skin should wash their skin with salty water in the morning and in the night, and not use any other facial cleansers or soap. Is this true?

    Never heard that one. I wash with tap water on my face and tap water with soap on my body.

    Some of the info on these pages may help you? Using salt on your facial skin as a daily routine seems pretty extreme. Where did you hear that?

    In a magazine. I suppose it's meant to dry the oil up.

    That would create more because you're removing the oil. Removing it too much makes your skin creation more. If you want to remove oil, you actually use oil based cleaners, and use oil-free moisturisers so the skin doesn't LOOK oily. Removing the oil dries the skin.
