I don't think Po-210 is an issue. There's far more arsenic and other krud in tobacco smoke to worry about. Besides, 1 in 12 carbon atoms is radioactive after all.
I would check my sources on that.

Oh and also, aparantly, if you chew gum and smoke at the same time it's worse for you? Is there any truth in that??

When I smoked a handwash always did the trick.
Yeah, true. I was thinking of mass spectroscopy where the M+1 peak looks about 1 12th of the M peak, my mistake. It's actually around 1% of natural carbon.
