Pityriasis Rosea and skin

I apologise, but this is rather disgusting:
In October, I got diagnosed with pityriasis rosea and was given cream and tablets for it.
After healing, the skin on my arms had started peeling.
I also had a very minor form on my face; but this is still peeling - yet everywhere else has healed.
Anyone had this problem? And is there anything I can do, please? I look as though I've got a bit of a white beard. (I'm female):yuck:

Best bet would be to talk to whoever prescribed it.
Sorry to hear that you are having problems with your skin. Its probably best to go back to your G.P and discuss this with him. He will be able to advise you on different ways to treat this.
