Im pretty sure im going to have to suggest something that I am actually quite going to enjoy myself, so it doesnt stink of any form of desperation, I have been thinking about it for a good 10 mins so far, but wondering if anyone can come up with anymore ideas.
All sorts of ideas are welcome, the more the better, then if im able to execute any of them, the more the better.
Picnic
Zoo
London for the day (30mins on train)
Pub lunch
Walk
Tab (this is a walk with weighted bergen so probly out of the question)
Cinema
Meal
Feeding some ducks

pininic and zoo are cool, sos pub lunch
would defintly rule out Tab as thats not to everyones tastes
P.s i'm amssuming that this is a date
She likes tabbing though, for keeping fit purposes :P
Love the feeding the ducks idea, always fun times.
Yea i was also gonna add make sure whatever you do takes up a whole afternoon, or however long you're meeting up for, cos you dont wanna get bored halfway through which nothing to do
Not if you add the cinema into a whole day's date. It can be a good starting point, get comfortable in each others company and give you something to talk about later on if you struggle to avoid those uncomfortable silences most people hate. (Nod there to Lexi and our favourate film :lol)
MrG, do you have a budget? Cause i'm pretty good at this stuff but what you can choose depends on how much you have to splash obviously..
I recently had a great day out with someone (last week infact).
We met up and went to the cinema to watch a film, had a nice walk along the themes to waterloo where we had dinner at the oxo tower(Not cheap but my god is the view and setting worth it!) and then a nice wander around trafalgar square and a kiss and cuddle before going home..
It's not going to get a second date but that's nothing to do with the night itself.. lol... Don't limit yourself to one specific activity, plan the whole day around her if you can and if you both have the time.
But was thinking possibly if they were around at the weekend, doing something not cheap, but simple. Nearby pub, possibly walk it back if the weather is good, 30 min walk? Stop off at shop and get some buns to feed the ducks.
any road will get you there.:)
Well said.
Sound's like you've got a good plan there MrG.
I'd just suggest thinking ahead and making sure you have a lot of questions stored up in your head to keep conversation flowing if you ever feel like things are getting stuck for whatever reason you've got something to pull outta your hat then before things get to that "I'm too uncomfortable with this silence to say anything" phase.
Nice with an orange sauce i hear
mmm..Crispy :hyper:
I'd do that and prepare lunch together at home and watch a movie on the DVD or play a silly boardgame. Lazy sunday type thing.
Lunch making facilities are a little, shall we say, non existant!
wtf have u just taken ska???
Ahh, mpgs you see
I have heard (from a source) that when she was asked how things went, "we are sorta friends, but seeing how it goes" while having a big smile on her face.
So looks like game on!
