Homepride white wine and cream sauce ugh

I bought a tin of this cos it was 50p, used half of it a few days ago and it's minging! Tastes really strong and chemically. :yuck:

I hate waste though so want to use it up! I was going to use it as a sauce with butter beans and veggies. How can I make it taste less gross! Any thoughs?

    I haven't had some for a while though. I'll make a point of buying some more and see whether I still like it!
