I'm planning on going to Manchester for a day in September. Could anyone tell me where in relation to Piccadilly and Victoria stations are the Arndale Centre and Afflecks?

    They're both just off Piccadilly Gardens. The Arndale's signposted and the Afflecks Palace is behind Debenhams.

    Is Affleck's still there? I remember there was talk about it shutting down.
    I know Quiggins in L'pool has closed and they wanted to do the same with Affleck's :rolleyes:

    yep its still there. it nearly closed down and a lot of the stalls started to move out but then it stayed open, and they've started moving back in :]

    Both are in the middle of either station, Piccadilly is about 5mins away and Victoria like 8 mins :)

    I think you should go to the Arts and Crafts Centre too, but then I'm biased.

    They always say they going to close it, but it hasn't happened yet so fingers crossed!
