Slightly different to the other thread, i have a cashmere jumper which is cream with brown, orange and green trimmings and i need to clean it. BUT, there is no care label on it, well there was but it was pinned on and i threw it away a few months back. Should i stick to dry cleaning or what?

You could try a very gentle cool hand wash? I would think care of cashmere would be similar to any pure wool - no heat, no agitation, minimal detergents!

    Not 100% on this though!

I wouldn't dry clean it. Although they use volatile solvents to clean rather than water and detergents, dry cleaning machines are quite aggitative (if there is a word) in their cycles. Hand wash, maybe with that silk and wool liquid and dry it flat, dont hang it up.
