I thought I would introduce myself briefly. I joined here yesterday and am planning on having some involvement soon. I have a history of depression and self-harm; however, I have not had a relapse for some years now. This has enabled me to use my experiences to make a difference for others and take up a social work degree. From this I intend to become a mental health social worker and use my own experiences to inform the work that I do. Additionally, I also run a social care website directed at Mental Health and Substance Misuse.
All in all, I hope that I can get to know you all soon.
