A job i saw advertised says this:

WAGE: CIRCA £320 NET (TAKE HOME)

dont know if im being dumb but what does that mean? whats circa and net referring to. does it mean 320 a week or a month?!

on another note, finding a new job is WAY hard.

thanks in advance :]

Gross wages (salary) is your wage before any deductions, like taxes, pension union fees etc are removed.

    Circa means "approximately"

Net wages (salary) is what you have left after all the deductions are paid.
I.E what you will see in your wage packet.

Its not too clear if that means a week or month,
Your best bet is to look at similar jobs and see if there figures are close to that number and are marked monthly or weekly.

    Hope this helps.

depends on your hours. if it's a part time job then that's possible, but it's far too low for a monthly pay at a full time job .

If it is that many hours, it is in excess of the Working Time regulations, even if those times include an unpaid break.
