BBC receives almost 250 complaints over 'all-black' EastEnders

Is this appropriate because of references to the Brixton riots? Or is it just a further example of how small minded people can be less than a week after complaints about the 'scary' presenter on childrens TV?

    I heard 5 people complained before the episode was aired.

    They were probably Mary Whitehouse types who thought that showing only black faces on a public service broadcaster for 30 minutes on a Tuesday evening somehow showed how morally decadent this country is. :rolleyes:

    i bet most of you would agree it was right to complain if it was a all white episode - not that its makes a diffrance to me,
